FINANCIAL INFORMATION
The Public Broadcasting Foundation of Northwest Ohio (WGTE Public Broadcasting) is a tax exempt, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that relies on public support provided by individuals, corporations, foundations and various governmental entities to advance its mission to serve those who benefit from our programs and services. Our success depends upon the public having a high degree of confidence in all that we do.
WGTE's board of directors and management are committed to deepening public confidence in and support for the organization. Therefore, WGTE, practices sound financial management and complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. WGTE's financial activities and reports are subject annually to a third party audit performed by a Certified Public Accountant. WGTE is dedicated to conducting its business ethically with honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, and accountability. We also recognize the need to be publicly accountable by presenting accurate and sufficiently complete information about WGTE to enable the public to evaluate whether the organization is using its resources well.
WGTE, like all non-profit organizations, is required by law to make certain financial information available to the public. The following outlines what financial information is available and how the public can gain access to that information.
What documents are available?

IRS 990
Forms for three (3) most recent filing years are available in compliance with applicable IRS rules and regulations. The IRS 990 return is effectively the organization's tax filing statement and is filed annually with IRS. It contains required detailed financial information, among other things.
Annual Audited Financial Statement
as reviewed by the organization's Certified Public Accountant.
Annual Budget
, in summary, as approved by the board of directors for the current fiscal year (WGTE's fiscal year is from July 1 through June 30).
How can one access these documents?
Public Inspection at the Offices of WGTE
. The foregoing documents are available for public inspection during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. till 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at WGTE's offices located at 1270 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.

Audited Financials
are posted on WGTE's Web site, wgte.org, following the completion of the annual audit and after acceptance of the audit by the board of directors. It is generally posted in late November or early December. To see the latest audit report, please click on the Audit Report button.
