The Public Broadcasting Foundation of Northwest Ohio (d.b.a. WGTE Public Media) ("WGTE") is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of Ohio for the primary purpose of operating public broadcasting television and radio stations in Toledo, Ohio. The WGTE Public Media Car/Cash Raffle ("Raffle")is conducted for the purpose of generating funds to support the activities of WGTE.

1. Eligibility. Each entrant, by entering the Raffle, agrees to abide by all of the rules and conditions contained herein, as well as all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations, and further agrees to release the foundation and its directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability with respect to all aspects of the raffle including, but not limited to, the selection process. The Raffle is open to any eligible person residing in a country or state where the Raffle is not prohibited. Employees of WGTE, their immediate family members, members of WGTE's Board of Directors and their immediate family members, and agents and prize suppliers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Raffle. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
    
2. CERTIFICATE PURCHASE. The cost to purchase a single entry ("Certificate") for the Raffle is $100.00 (U.S. Funds only) and is not tax deductible. Any entrant may purchase more than one Certificate. An entrant can enter the Raffle by purchasing a Certificate over the Internet from our secure Website located at www.wgte.org or by calling our toll-free number at 1-800-440-0047, or at WGTE's offices located at 1270 S. Detroit Ave., Toledo, Ohio between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Certificate payment can be made by VISA Bankcard, Mastercard, Discover Card, check or money order. If an entrant's payment is dishonored by the bank for any reason, such entrant's Certificate will be declared invalid unless full and satisfactory payment is made prior to the Raffle drawing. Any dishonored credit card will be considered an invalid entry, and WGTE will endeavor to notify the entrant by mail. Completed entry certificate forms must be in the possession of WGTE by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 or before 1,500 valid Certificates are sold, whichever comes first, to be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing. All certificate forms will be handled and recorded on a first come, first served basis. Any certificate forms and payments (including payments previously dishonored) received after closure of the Raffle will be returned to the entrant. Upon receipt of a completed registration form and valid payment, a Certificate with assigned drawing number will be issued. The Certificate shall be mailed to the entrant within ten (10) business days of issuance.
   
    
3. PRIZES.
   
   
   • GRAND PRIZE. The Grand Prize is the Grand Prize winner's choice of a Base Model 2008 C6 Corvette Hatchback Coupe OR a $40,000.00 cash prize. The base model 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Hatchback Coupe includes the following standard features, among others: 430 hp, 6.2L LS3 V8 engine with 6 speed, short throw manual transmission; dual zone air conditioning; aluminum 5-spoke (Front - 18"x8.5"/Rear - 19"x10") wheels with P245/40ZR18 - Front, Extended Mobility, P285/35ZR19 - Rear, Extended Mobility tires; Active Handling System; power front and rear disk brakes with 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS); AM/FM stereo with 6-disc in dash CD player, MP3 playback, and Bose premium 7-speaker sound system, with AudioPilot Noise Compensation Technology, Radio Data System, seek and scan, digital clock, auto-tone control and TheftLock.
     
     If a vehicle is chosen, the Grand Prize winner must take delivery of the vehicle at Ed Schmidt Chevrolet located at 1425 Reynolds Road, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Options may be added at winner's sole expense at the dealer's invoice cost. Timing of the delivery of the vehicle is at the discretion of Ed Schmidt Chevrolet. Given that this model will be in high demand, delivery will take time.
      
   • EARLY BIRD DRAWING . A special Early Bird Drawing of prizes totaling $5,000.00 will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 for all completed and valid entry certificate forms that are in possession of WGTE by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. There will be ten (10) Early Bird Drawing Prizes awarded:
     
     
     • One (1) prize of $1,500.00 cash;
     • Two (2) prizes of $1,000.00 cash each;
     • Two (2) prizes of $500.00 cash each; and
     • Five (5) prizes of $100.00 cash each.
        
     Early Bird drawing winners are eligible for all subsequent drawings and the Grand Prize Drawing.
      
   • BONUS DRAWINGS. There will be ten (10) Bonus Drawings of $1,000.00 cash each (total of $10,000.00). Two (2) Bonus Drawings will be held each week beginning on Friday, May 23, 2008 and continuing through Friday, June 20, 2008. The weekly drawings will be held at WGTE's offices by 5:00 p.m. on the drawing date. Weekly bonus drawing winners are eligible for subsequent drawings and the Grand Prize Drawing.
      

   All prize winners are responsible for all costs associated with title, registration, licensing, delivery and other applicable fees associated with their respective prizes, as well as for all local, state and federal taxes, including, but not limited to without limitation, all luxury, special and income taxes that may be applicable. Winners will be required to provide WGTE with a valid social security number and must complete all IRS and similar forms requested by WGTE prior to delivery of their prize. Failure to do so within thirty (30) days of request shall result in an automatic forfeiture of such winner's prize.
    

4. WINNING CHANCES. A maximum of 1,500 Certificates will be sold. Each Certificate represents one chance to win. You may enter as many times as you like. Chances of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible Certificates sold. Overall, an entrant with one ticket has at least a 1 in 74 chance of winning a prize at the onset of the raffle (this includes eligibility for the Early Bird Drawings). For the Grand Prize, if 1,500 certificates are sold, your chance of winning the grand prize is 1 in 1,500. The odds of winning a prize in the Early Bird Drawing or weekly Bonus Drawings depend on the number of eligible Certificates sold prior to those drawings.
    
5. DRAWINGS. Winners will be determined by random drawings of all the eligible Certificates received by the entry deadlines. The Early Bird Drawings will be held at the offices of WGTE on Friday, May 16, 2008. The weekly Bonus Drawings will be held at the offices of WGTE every Friday starting on May 23, 2008 through Friday, June 20, 2008. In order to be eligible for the Early Bird Drawings , valid entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. In order to be eligible for a Weekly Bonus Drawings , valid entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding that Friday's drawing. All eligible Certificates issued by the date and time for each drawing as noted above will be eligible for the Weekly Bonus Drawings. Certificates of the winners of the Early Bird Drawings as well as those for the Weekly Bonus Drawings will be returned to the pool of Certificates and will then be eligible for all subsequent drawings, including that for the Grand Prize Drawing on the Grand Prize Drawing date of June 27, 2008. The Grand Prize Drawing will be broadcast on WGTE TV at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008. Valid entries for the Grand Prize Drawing date must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Winners need not be present to win. Drawings are not open to the public.
    
6. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF DRAWING. WGTE reserves the right to cancel or modify the Raffle. If 1,000 certificates are not sold by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, WGTE, at its option, may modify the Raffle by withdrawing the Grand Prize and split the remaining net proceeds (income less expenses) equally between the Grand Prize winner and WGTE. If at least 600 certificates are not sold by 5:00 p.m. on June 25, 2008, WGTE, at its option, may cancel the Raffle and refund in full to each entrant the purchase price of the Certificate. If all available certificates are sold before the scheduled Grand Prize drawing date (i.e., WGTE has determined that the raffle is "sold out"), WGTE reserves the right to end the raffle early by holding all remaining drawings, including the Grand Prize Drawing at a date earlier than the scheduled final drawing date (this puts the winnings in the hands of winners sooner). As with the regularly scheduled Grand Prize Drawing, it will be broadcast on WGTE TV.
    
7. WINNERS. Winners will be notified by phone, e-mail or by mail based on the information received on the registration form. Names of winners will be available to all media and will be available at the offices of WGTE and listed on WGTE's Website. For a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Winners List, WGTE Public Media, 1270 S. Detroit Avenue, P.O. Box 140814, Toledo, OH 43614. Winning entrants agree to allow WGTE to use their names, likeness, and any statements made by them regarding the prize for advertising or publicity purposes without compensation. Winners may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. Failure to do so if requested or if one otherwise fails to comply by these rules and/or to make arrangements to claim his or her prize within thirty (30) days of notification will void that entry.
    
8. AWARDING OF PRIZES. More than one name may be listed on a registration form, but the first name listed shall be deemed to be the entrant. A social security number must be provided, and it must be that of the entrant. Delivery or payment of any prize shall be made solely to the entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant in a multiple party entry to allocate any such prize among the participants in a multiple party entry.
    
9. AUTHORITY AND CONTROL. The decision of WGTE shall be final in all matters concerning the Raffle. The Raffle is subject to the laws of the State of Ohio. Void where prohibited by law.
    
10. OVERSIGHT. The Grand Prize Car/Cash Raffle drawing is officiated by Ernst & Young LLP, One SeaGate Center, Toledo, Ohio.
     
11. VEHICLE. Base Model 2008 C6 Corvette Hatchback Coupe is made available by Ed Schmidt Chevrolet located at 1425 Reynolds Road, Maumee, Ohio 43537. "Corvette" is a registered trademark of Chevrolet.
