Leaders of the 1920s Harlem Renaissance (writer Langston Hughes, jazz greats Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong) appeared at the retreat's Paradise Club.

Searching for the Great Hopewell Road
The is based on the investigations of Dr. Bradley Lepper, Coordinator of Archaeological Education, Ohio Historical Society, who has uncovered evidence the Hopewell may have built a straight, wide sixty-mile road between their two greatest ceremonial centers.
