What happens if you fall sick and are one of 47 million people in America without health insurance? CRITICAL CONDITION, which airs on WGTE TV on Tuesday, September 30, at 9:00 p.m., puts a human face on the nation's growing health care crisis by capturing the harrowing struggles of four critically ill Americans who discover that being uninsured can cost them their jobs, health, home, savings, even their lives.
WGTE Town Hall Meeting: Critical ConditionTuesday, September 30, 10:30 p.m.
WGTE will follow the national program with a Town Hall Meeting with local experts, physicians and people who are personally experiencing the health care crisis in their own lives. By raising awareness of the local problem, we hope to encourage more citizens to ask the hard questions: Who are the people in our area who are hardest hit by the lack of affordable healthcare? Where can those in need go for help? How can you take responsbility for your own health?
You are also invited to contribute the discussion online about the topic of healthcare and the healthcare crisis below on our discussion board.

Designed and managed by Outreach Extensions and P.O.V., the CRITICAL CONDITION National Outreach Campaign is made possible by generous funding from The Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Charles A. Frueauff Foundation, the Fledgling Fund, the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Missouri Foundation for Health, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, the Park Foundation, the Spunk Fund, and the Trull Foundation.
