Digital Citizenship: Communication Skills for 21st Century Living
How can teachers help students become responsible digital citizens? 21st century students use a variety of technologies on a daily basis, and by doing so, they join the billions of people interacting in a digital society. Media literacy is a 21st century approach to education and provides a framework to access, analyze, evaluate, create and participate. Participants will explore resources and engage in activities that align with academic content standards and model effective strategies for successful integration. Through hands-on exposure, participants will walk away with the knowledge and skills to create safe and successful learning environments.
NOTE: Participation in this workshop will contribute to Graduate Credit Requirements.
