The Flipped Classroom: What Is It, How Can I Use It, and How Do I Do It?

Looking for a way to engage today’s millennial students with technology? Heard about the new flipped classroom trend, but not sure how to incorporate it into your classes? Attend WGTE’s Flipped Classroom session and answer both of these questions.

This class teaches participants how to incorporate flipped technologies. Current academic teacher Dave Harms shares time saving techniques to create flipped content around your content area as well as integrate already created online content from sites such as the Kahn Academy. Participants will be able to integrate flipped ideas at different levels, from fully flipped classrooms to somersaulted classrooms that partially integrate flipped technologies. Additionally, Harms shares timesaving content creation techniques using iPads. Programs such as Camtasia, Moodle, Teachertube, ExplainEverything, EduCreations, Animoto, and others will be explored.
