Pharmacist Career Module
With science and mathematics consuming a large component of a Pharmacists' education, this job most certainly is within the realm of a STEM career. Pharmacists not only dispense prescription medication to patients but also provide information to patients about the drugs. They explain doctors' instructions to patients so that patients are able to use medications safely and effectively. To work as a pharmacist one must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, known as a Pharm.D. Pharmacy programs are usually four years long, with a heavy emphasis on math, chemistry and biology.
