Does anyone know the % of phosphorus from residential run off? (Lawn Fertilizers)

The percentage of phosphorus from residential runoff will vary greatly depending on weather and homeowner practices (following package instructions, sweeping excess amounts off sidewalks and driveways, selection of products used on lawns, etc.).  Products designed for lawn care or turf management have relatively low phosphorus amounts.  However, products designed for all-purpose use tend to have much higher levels.  The Scotts Miracle Gro Company has indicated that they are planning to phase out all phosphorus from products designed for lawn or turf management by 2012.
