TOLEDO BALLET SUBJECT OF INSPIRING DOCUMENTARY

Explore the Toledo Ballet - an institution that has trained thousands of dancers for more than seventy years. This documentary, Révérence: Life in the Ballet, takes viewers behind the scenes for countless hours of rehearsals as dancers prepare for Toledo Ballet’s signature performance, the 69th annual NUTCRACKER, and their original spring production, PRESS ONE FOR MORE OPTIONS.

“Nobody understands how much work goes into this,” says dancer Elizabeth Ramsey. Révérence documents the grueling behind-the- scenes rehearsal schedule that ultimately culminates in a riveting performance.

The documentary also features interviews with ballet alumna, the school director and veteran Broadway performer Lisa Mayer Lang, Executive Director Mari Davies, and spring production Artistic Director Michael Lang.
