Media Mashup: Introduction to Social Media

This class will provide basic information and some instruction on many social media websites that are popular in our current web-culture. The biggest sites will be discussed to gain understanding of their popularity and their function in our society. Not all social media is created equally. Time will be dedicated to introducing the best social media for the classroom and how you can incorporate this media safely with your students and faculty.
