Dr. Rebecca Casey received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Piano Performance from Ohio Northern University. She received her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Piano Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Eugene and Elizabeth Pridonoff as well as Frank Weinstock. She was a member of the Student Artist Program and served as a Theory Teaching Assistant at CCM. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Delta Pi, Alpha Lambda Delta, College Music Society, Ohio Music Educators Association, and the Ohio Music Teachers Association. Rebecca has appeared as guest soloist with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra at Ohio Northern University, and has adjudicated many festivals and competitions in the area, including the Young Keyboard Artists Competitions and Buckeye Competitions. She also taught music in the Findlay City Schools for four years and received both the Educator of the Month Award for excellence in teaching and an Award of Distinction for teaching from the Findlay Area Jaycees. Rebecca is Assistant Professor of Music at Ohio Northern University, where she teaches both class piano and individual piano lessons. She serves as an accompanist for both students and faculty at ONU and was a member of the Casey-Williams Piano Duo team with Rosemary Williams.
