A native of the Toledo area, Jennifer discovered her passion for music at an early age. As a child she studied piano and performed as a member of the Toledo Opera children's chorus.
Jennifer went on to study opera at the Mannes College of Music and Manhattan School of Music in New York, as well as Bowling Green State University here in Ohio. As a singer, Ms. Scott has been the recipient of numerous awards and has performed such roles as Blanche in Andre Previn's Streetcar Named Desire, Blanche in Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Frasquita in Carmen.
In 2010, she began adapting and directing operas for the Resident Artist Program at Toledo Opera, where she currently serves as Artistic Advisor and Artistic Director of Education and Outreach.
Jennifer lives in Temperance, Michigan, with her husband Brad Cresswell and their two young children, Elliott and Brenda.
