Angel Vasquez Producer/Cinematographer/Educator
Angel Vasquez (pictured) is nationally recognized as a Princess Grace Award Alumnus, and award-winning producer whose programming credits include PBS American Masters’ Series, Lionsgate Films, and
his most recent social-issue documentary producer credits for “Crooked Beauty”, about
reshaping mental stigmas advocating a new healing culture and political model for
living; and “Turning Point”, a film about the current public school system in jeopardy. Vasquez’s films have screened internationally including film festivals in Australia and Korea. He is a visiting producer at WGTE-Public Media in Toledo, Ohio, and produces film and TV content in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Michigan.
Brooke Dagnan, Director/Producer/Educator
Brooke Dagnan (not pictured) has worked as a publications photographer, video designer, and film editor in both the creative and corporate worlds. Her creative work focuses on documentary film production and interactive new media. Recent projects include, serving as assistant editor of Turning Point, a documentary chronicling the lives of students at Waite High School in East Toledo, and The PIX Film Project an interactive, experimental film kiosk invited to show at two international conferences—Re:New 2008, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and at the International Computer Music Conference in Belfast, Ireland. Brooke serves on the Programming Committee for the Ann Arbor Film Festival and is the Director of Film Education at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor.
