WGTE Education will host an engaging series of Google trainings, including a one-day Google Certified Educator Level 1 Bootcamp, and a MakeyMakey session in June. Tuesday, June 4 from 9 a.m.-noon 
Boost Engagement Workshop with Interactive Lessons and Student CreationThis interactive and engaging workshop will allow you to experience tools and resources that will get your students excited about the content as well as providing you meaningful feedback and data. Take these tools a step further and empower your students to be creators of content instead of just consuming! We will look at incorporating Hyperdocs, PearDeck, Nearpod, Flipgrid, WriteReader, Book Creator, EdPuzzle, and more!

Thursday, June 6 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
MakeyMakey for Invention Literacy Training:
MakeyMakey allows beginners and experts to engineer everyday objects into touchpads. The computer treats the MakeyMakey kit as it would any mouse input, so it works with all programs and webpages, and as long as the material can conduct electricity, it can be designed to work with MakeyMakey. Attendees will learn basic circuit coding for a variety of instructional applications and recieve a FREE MakeyMakey kit.
**Attendees must bring a laptop with functional USB ports and microphone; please test before arriving. Bring a lunch (1 hour) or dine nearby.**

Build a Better Sundae with G Suite
: Want to learn what G Suite Apps are, and how you can apply and utilize them with your students as well as for yourself? Come join us for the day to learn the basics of Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Drawings, Gmail and more! Walk away with tools and resources that you can use with your students the next day!

You Mean Google Has More to Offer?
So you know the basics of G Suite apps but want to learn what more they offer? Come join us for a day full of mini-sessions that will cover Google Classroom, Calendar/Keep, Sites, Photos, as well as Geo Tools like My Maps, Tour Builder, and Google Earth! Walk away a Google Rockstar!

Google Certified Educator Level 1 Bootcamp:
This engaging and interactive Google Certification workshop will prepare educators for the Google Educator Level 1 certification test. Topics covered include: Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Classroom, Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Keep, Sites, Google Chrome, Google Search and YouTube. Participants must bring a laptop or Chromebook to the workshop.
**Participants are responsible for registering and passing the Google Educator exams after the workshop. Bring a lunch (30 min.) or dine nearby.**
