Challenge Gifts
Perhaps you've heard dollar-for-dollar matches being offered during TV and FM fundraisers. They are an exciting and extremely effective way to increase our new member base, energize lapsed members to rejoin, and secure additional support from current members.
Please consider the following:
- Challenge Gifts can come from individuals, family foundations or businesses.
- Challenge gifts should be in an amount of $500, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000 or more.
- Challenge gifts are in addition to, not in lieu of, your regular membership gift.
- You can remain anonymous or have your name acknowledged.
- You will be made aware of when your challenge is being offered.
- You can fulfill your pledged challenge gift prior to or after the campaign.
- If we do not succeed in matching your gift dollar-for-dollar, you owe nothing!
- You will be sent a letter stating how much was raised as a result of your gift.
Your challenge gift will inspire hundreds of others to take action and make their important investment in WGTE. Your Challenge Gift, teamed with gifts from other generous donors, will generate thousands of critical dollars for WGTE!
