WGTE Public Media and Monroe Street United Methodist Church have embarked on a wonderful documentary project that will chronicle the 200 year history of the Monroe Street United Methodist Church. This project is 75% finished and MSUMC needs your help to get it finished.

In a city that’s seen hardship and hope, Monroe Street United Methodist Church has stood strong for 200 years. This 30-minute documentary takes you inside its walls and into the lives it’s touched—revealing stories of faith, justice, and relentless love for community. Premiering this December, “Monroe St. United”.
"For 200 years, Monroe Street United Methodist has been doing God’s work in Toledo. While we remember our past, we celebrate the present and vision our future. God’s work is not done, and neither is the work of Monroe Street. Our Toledo Story embraces the past, present, and future. Please join us in supporting this amazing story of faith," says Kevin Mulder, 200th Anniversary Chair.
Another milestone for MSUMC is the celebration of Monroe Street Neighborhood Center's 25th anniversary. This will also be highlighted in this documentary. With a mission to partner with the greater community to feed the hungry, strengthen and enrich families, provide physical fitness courses to seniors, and bring high-quality housing to community members in financial need, the Neighborhood Center is a vital part of MSUMC's ministry. Tracci Johnson, Executive Director of the MSNC said, "As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Monroe Street Neighborhood Center, we reflect on two and a half decades of unwavering commitment to our community. This milestone is not just about the years passed but about the lives touched and the relationships built. MSNC's mission has always been to empower, uplift and support each individual in our neighborhood. I am proud to be a product of this neighborhood and to represent the resilience of our community."
This project is in search of individuals and organizations that understand and believe in the mission of MSUMC. With the help of this community and individuals like you we can help raise the funds needed to finish the production of this project.
