WGTE Welcomes Mickey Miller as Morning Classics Host on FM 91

Mickey Miller

WGTE Public Media is pleased to welcome Mickey Miller as Radio Host and Content Producer supporting WGTE FM 91’s classical music programming. In addition to hosting Morning Classics beginning April 1, 2026, her voice will be heard during Classical Overnights.

A classically trained vocalist with a lifelong passion for classical music, Mickey Miller is also a longtime advocate for the arts. Over the last decade, she has held a variety of roles in the performing arts community, including positions with the International Alliance for Women in Music, the Toledo Alliance for the Performing Arts, Opera Louisiane, the Choral Arts Alliance of Missouri and Vatic. She has a master’s degree in music, with a focus on voice and opera from Louisiana State University.

“I’m so excited to join the team at WGTE,” said Miller, a native of Kansas City, Missouri. “This station is such a special place — I’m a proud Ohio transplant and look forward to connecting artists and audiences in Toledo.”

WGTE remains committed to airing classical music as part of the organization’s overall mission to serve the community through the arts, and FM 91 Radio Station Manager Brad Cresswell believes that Ms. Miller will be a valuable part of the station’s mission. “I’m thrilled to have Mickey on board, as I’ve worked with her before and her talents know no bounds,” said Cresswell. “She will be a great addition to our team.

Morning Classics can be heard on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on FM 91.
