Shoot This Not That Reception

WGTE Public Media is proud to announce that we will be hosting a reception on September 11^th at 6 p.m. for the City of Toledo’s Shoot This Not That program.  This reception will honor the efforts of the second cohort of high school students to complete the summer program. Shoot This Not That – Toledo: Youth Behind the Lens is a youth-driven program that harnesses photography, storytelling, and media arts as powerful tools for healing, expression, and advocacy. Created to amplify the voices of young people impacted by gun violence, the program empowers participants to document their realities, reclaim their narratives, and envision safer communities—one frame at a time.Learn More

Join WGTE for FM 91 on the Road as we broadcast live from 23^rd Annual International Festival.  From the grounds of the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo join our radio hosts as they present the best of classical music.   This will be a fun-filled, family-friendly weekend celebrating cultures from around the world! With over 22 ethnicities represented under one tent, the International Festival is one of the most vibrant and diverse cultural experiences in Ohio.
