Please join WGTE as we watch "Maigret." Doors open at 6:30 and the program begins at 7 p.m.

There’s a new detective on the streets of Paris! Benjamin Wainwright stars as Jules Maigret in the upcoming contemporary adaptation of Georges Simenon’s beloved novels.

Join WGTE for an evening of community, connection, and purpose at Pour for a Purpose! We’re gathering at The Switchboard (next to Culture Clash Records) in downtown Toledo for a night filled with live music, local food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction items, and plenty of fun. This fundraiser is a chance to support public media in a new and exciting way while enjoying an unforgettable evening. Alma's Way WGTE Movie Night

Alma's Way is coming to Toledo! Join WGTE for a night full of FUN! 

Join WGTE on Friday, October 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to meet Alma, watch an episode of "Alma's Way" on the big screen, participate in fun activities, enjoy delicious treats and go home with free giveaways.

Created by actor, writer, and TV icon Sonia Manzano (beloved by generations as “Maria” on Sesame Street) and inspired by her own childhood, Alma’s Way centers on 6-year-old Alma Rivera, a proud, confident Puerto Rican girl. Alma lives in the Bronx with her family among a diverse group of close-knit friends and community members. Infused with Sonia’s humor and grounded in critical thinking and social-emotional learning, the series will give children the tools to discover the confidence to think for themselves, find their own answers, and recognize and respect the unique perspectives of others.
