My name is Monique Ward and I’m a Brooklyn-born, NYC raised but Toledo bred, mother and entrepreneur. My passions are my community activism, entertainment, fashion and marketing. I've been a Toledo resident since 2004 and ever since then, this city has shaped me into the strong woman and personality that I have become today. My first career opportunities as a teen were as a freelance journalist for local newspapers. Fast forward to today, and I'm a talent manager of a boutique model agency, as well as the host of ‘The Soul of The Glass City Podcast’ on WGTE. Outside of being a seasoned entrepreneur and career woman, I'm navigating my 3 amazing teens through H.S. and currently chasing my toddler (who is a huge ball of energy) around the house. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love while making a difference in the city that gave me the resources to be a great mother, business owner, and humble servant leader.
