The Local Thread on FM 91

The Local Thread is a community news coalition bringing together local voices and trusted storytellers from across our region. In partnership with Toledo Lucas County Public Library, La Prensa, Toledo History Museum, Empowered AI and Toledo Free Press, the series explores the people, issues and ideas shaping our community.

For one hour each weeknight over 13 weeks, The Local Thread features timely, informative conversations and stories designed to connect, inspire and strengthen the fabric of local life. The Local Thread airs weeknights on FM 91 from 7–8 p.m. New episodes are released daily on all major podcast platforms, giving listeners early access to every conversation before it airs on FM 91.
