Director - Educational Services
The Director of Educational Services provides leadership and management oversight of WGTE Public Media’s Educational Resource Center (K-12 educator professional development services) and Early Learning department (pre-K literacy, social emotional development training, etc. for childcare providers). Additionally, the director oversees workshop creation, development of engaging outreach events, caregiver workshops, and grant application/management, and reporting. The successful candidate will possess a record of success with educator professional development and in early childhood literacy and has experience using technology in these areas and is able to develop, present, implement and monitor professional development modules, as well as manage new and existing learning initiatives. The Director is also responsible for developing internal reporting systems, writing reports, and maintaining excellent records to ensure each project meets requirements and expectations. This individual must also be a strong team player and be able to develop positive, collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with organizations that share our commitment of service to educators and early childhood professionals.
A Master’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and five (5) years of experience in educator professional development and Early Learning; OR A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and ten (10) years of experience in adult education and Early Learning is required. WGTE Public Media seeks a full-time, Producer to coordinate, acquire and edit short and long form videos as well as produce live studio and field productions.
Previous experience in videography and digital editing required. Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Video Switching preferred. Candidate must be willing to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a field such as liberal arts, radio & television broadcasting or journalism preferred; or a minimum of an Associate's degree in liberal arts, radio & television broadcasting or journalism, or two years related experience and/or training required. Marketing and Communications Coordinator
WGTE Public Media seeks a highly organized professional to execute communication tactics for digital, print, television and radio that advance business outcomes.
Candidate must have strong written and oral communications skills, excellent team collaborating abilities, and be able to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects. Experience with creating and managing content through existing social/digital platforms and systems required. The ideal candidate should have direct experience with website content management systems, email marketing administration, and digital analytics.
