Karl Barth (1886-1968) Swiss Protestant theologian who led the Confessing Church in opposing Hitler which can encourage us today to fight to save our democracy.
Fr. James J. Bacik has served as a priest of the Diocese of Toledo since his ordination in 1962, including 30 years as pastor of Corpus Christi University Parish serving the University of Toledo. After earning his doctorate in theology from the University of Oxford, in England, he has published numerous articles and 15 books, including his recent national award-winning Saints Celebrated and Unsung: The Universal Call to Holiness. Recognized as “one of North America's finest, most insightful theologians,” Fr. Bacik has lectured internationally in China, Russia, Japan, Europe, Australia, Ireland and Latin America.
