Apple Corps: The Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest

It takes a village to raise a festival. For the 35th consecutive year, the tiny village of Grand Rapids, Ohio, throws opens its streets and hearts to tens of thousands of guests. Beginning with its humble (and almost improvised) origins, the Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest has grown into the largest single-day festival in the region, and some say in the country! Join WGTE as we look at the the history of the Grand Rapids Applebutter Fest and get a glimpse behind the scenes as it comes together. This celebration of family, art, history, and of course, Applebutter, mobilizes hundred of volunteers... in a small town of less than a thousand.
