13abc Producer Sophia Walcher is constantly finding ways to combine her love of journalism and philosophy with her love for theatre and creativity. While pursuing her journalism degree at BGSU, Sophia explored her passions for improv, theatre, and philosophy, before accepting an internship at local news station 13abc as a weekend morning producer. After completing the internship, Sophia was offered a full-time producer position with 13abc’s morning lifestyle show “The Nine,” working behind the scenes, coming up with fun segments, and thinking quick on her feet to truly embrace the improv strategy of "yes, and...". Sophia joins us to discuss her current projects, the future of media, and her Roman Empire.
